Lily Pulitzer Silk Slip/Michael Kors Wedge/Kate Spade Bag (similar)

Hey everyone! I hope that you’re having an absolutely splendid transition into summer. May is the month of graduations, brunches and other reasons to showcase your personal style while looking your best. Today I have one of my favorite looks that makes me feel vibrant, confident and fabulous!

The Dress

This outfit makes me feel confident, happy and ready to take on the world. If anyone is considering this Lily slip, I definitely recommend that you welcome it into your wardrobe! It’s bright, fun, festive and makes me feel a bit like Jennifer Garner in 13 Going on 30! I love a dress that can elate my mood and give me the confidence to tackle any occasion.

The Bag

I am definitely a comfort shopper. Yes, this is a term that I’ve made up but I guarantee you that like biting your nails, it’s a perfectly normal, bad habit. I define a comfort shopper as someone who never expands their boundaries when it comes to shopping and ultimately ends up buying a lot of simple things that they do not need and already have. If you look in my closet, you will find a multitude of white tops. I do not need anymore white tops, since they take up half of my closet but I keep buying more because they’re something that I’m confident with.

When it comes to this bag in its structured, vibrant, pink glory, I definitely broke from my “comfort shopper” ways. I have a lot of the same bag: tan, small and a top zipper. I have countless purses that fit this mold in my closet. When I chose this purse in the store, it looked completely different from my other purses and I liked that. I urge all of you to expand your fashion boundaries the next time that you’re in the store, you may end up surprising yourself with a find that changes your entire outlook on fashion!

The Wedges

These gold wedges are always a go to in my book! I love the shimmery gold color and their comfort is definitely a plus. I recommend that everyone have a pair of fun wedges that stray from the average tan. Gold is a great option because it is easy to pair with gold jewelry, not to mention, it looks amazing with pink!

I hope that you all enjoyed this post as you sip your Monday coffee. Never be afraid to experiment with fashion and if you’re ever feeling like you’re in a fashion rut, try adding a splash of pink into your world!

    1. Thank you so much! Everyone definitely has different colors that flatter them; I’d love to rock a bright yellow in the summer but it really doesn’t work with my hair! You are so sweet, thank you for your comment.
